Wishful crystal Water covers everything in blue Coolin' water
Wishful sinful Our love is beautiful to see I know where I would like to be Right back where I came
Wishful, sinful, wicked blue Water covers you Wishful, sinful, wicked you Can't escape the blue
Magic risin' Sun is shinin' deep beneath the sea But not enough for you and me and sunshine Love to hear the wind cry
Wishful sinful Our love is beautiful to see I know where I would like to be Right back where I came
Wishful, sinful, wicked blue Water covers you Wishful, sinful, wicked you Can't escape the blue
Love to hear the wind cry Love to hear you cry, yeah, yeahOne of the best Doors ballads. Also one of the best non Morrison songs The Doors ever produced. A simple enough love song filled with great imagery courtesy of guitar player Robby Krieger. Musically a perfect example of how The Doors strings and horns should work. The Soft Parade was criticised for its string and horn arrangements but this song was without doubt a perfect answer to such criticism. Released as a single with the B-side - "Who Scared You?" One of Jim Morrison's best crooning vocals. Robby's Best Song

'When Jim suggested that I write songs I figured I would stick to his style of writing about universal images. So I decided I would write about the four elements....earth, air, fire and water. LMF utilised this advice as did 'Yes The River Knows' which was another water song.' Robby Krieger
