Back then the bands had little control over the working of the concert it was the 70s before bands became involved with lightshows and got more involved in the sound at gigs. Doors gigs were not all as crazy as The Doors movie....much of the time people just sat and listened. Only once the freak show started did we see the audince going insane and wrecking the place. By that time The Doors time was almost over and Morrison was fed up with the lot of it. Look at Jim's pleas for lighting changes common on bootlegs......he would have preffered complete darknes with mabe a spot...... As for those fuckwits the dorks I would imagine the best seating arrangement would be in a pub round the corner with some decent music playing on the jukebox. Beer good company and damn fine music...who needs those fucking losers?

rock on!! lol the language on this board is terrible, i think we need some cencorship around here! ;D I think probably the most famous plea from jim for the fellas to change the lighting would have to be on the edn at the holloywood bowl. but the bastards didnt do it! fascists!
