I have listened to it a lot this last week and I think its pretty excellent to be honest....I can understand why Doors fans don't like this sort of thing being done to classic Doors music but this one is a bloody good well thought out respectful effort.....also we get to hear a few snippets of ROTS that we never heard on the album...cool! ROTS/Away In India rumour... newdoorstalk.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1107703231

Be very interesting to know a bit more about this but like so much of The Doors regarding out-takes I would not hold your breath!

Hello! I'm joining in a bit late again, I know! But I've just heard a couple of snippets of Snoop Dogg and BT v The Doors. I like the Snoop Dogg one! Not a particular fan of his, but I think he's done quite a decent job there! I think it's a song you can dance to as well. That's a very important thing for me! I need a song I can dance to! Which leads me to BT v The Doors! It's not as good as Snoop Dogg, but when it's getting to a certain point in the evening, when you've maybe had one drink too many, and all you wanna do is dance like you just don't care, then it's more appealing! Any other time of day though, it's just another dance track with an old tune on it. Which is okay. I don't have a problem with this kinda recycling if it's the best way to bring new ears to the Doors! Plus the fact that Break on Through is one of my fave songs for getting on down and boogyin' to so I don't mind the extra rythm on it! My daughter loves the song too. She dances almost as crazily as I do! Love from Sandy. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

hmmm, so perhaps what jim ws saying was already in the pipelines, so to speak. Yes. I don't know why everybody thinks Jim was so clairavoyant on this one. You have to imagine in between takes & stuff Jim probably sat around & listened to engineers talking about stuff....
