In continuing my quest to read more about the doors. i learned that apparently JD thinks the doors are open BBC docu is possibly the best live recordings of the doors on video. the docu was recorded in london at the roundhouse, but did it include any other european locations? and...is it available on video/DVD...i wanna get my hands on this!

Its been out on video for decades mate and is also out on DVD but just as an American DVD not sure if its a Brit one.... Jim said the Roundhouse gigs were the best they ever did and we have a fair bit on botleg to judge it by. The documentary was just The Roundhouse in London and not any of the other Euro gigs...thats Doors In Europe also on video and DVD which has footage from a few of the gigs. i finally watched this last night. eressie gave it to me cos it had subtitles on, being a Portuguese version. but the subtitles are only on the songs chuck it really doesn't take away from the action much...infact its quite amusing in points when the subtitles are giving totally the wrong words as for the DVD, its one of the best i have seen...i fuckin love it. my faves are WTMO and backdoor man. the band played superbly and Jim looked really at home. shame about us boring Brit audience at the time the camera shots of the band were great. and i liked the interaction between the roundhouse and scenes from riots. plus the famous shot of name..occupation..Jim! eeerrrr

I Think,When It Is In DVD,Has Been Edit With Increase Contrast In Video,You Can Compare The VHS Version-With DVD Version.
