Well its true....thats why I do not have sections devoted to this crap....I go to a lot of trouble to try to get Doors discussion going and get a bit frustrated when people waffle on about some 80s has-been fronting a tribute band....there are tons of Doors topics here but they are rarely touched on but if I started an argument here about Rays money grubbing toss I bet there would be dozens of posts.....  Jimbo has a board to talk about the dorks but I don't.... |

I want to post more on the Doors topics, but I am still learning and don´t know all the facts I need to know to get into a deeper discussion at times, so therefore I mostly read the posts in the topics and try to learn. I have read 4 books, have all the studio albums (need to get the live ones too!), have 4 VHS/DVD:s and do a lot of research online, so I´m getting there.  |

Take no notice of me dear.....I am just a grumpy old sod as you will see when you meet me in July  Sadly places to learn about the Doors are getting fewer.....I was checking out the Goggle and MSN groups today and what I saw made me sad as nearly all of them were dead.....same on Yahoo.....50 odd groups 2 that are even active....this kind of place is a dying breed I am afraid...... Other Circles posted about Doors forums and they are few and far between nowadays.....I saw Kerrys DCM forum last week and its a joke now...it used to be great..... I am trying to build a place to talk Doors here and its not doing bad.....but its not doing that good either.....  Hopefully the July anniversary will get this place buzzing a bit.... |

yeh we will get some fliers out dude and spread the word. talking about books. i am a bit ashamed of myself to be fair as i have only read like 2 doors books lol one was light me fire and the other was a doors guide book..a guide to the songs etc. really need to get myself some more! i have learnt shit loads in this place and from alex about the doors since i have been on here and the other boards alex was on, this place rocks. alex is like yoda of the doors world |
