On the video A Tribute To Jim Morrison, there is an excerpt of the Celebration of the lizard where Jim sings the lines
"Now, run to the mirror in the bathroom, Look! She's coming in here. I can't live thru each slow century of her moving. I let my cheek slide down The cool smooth tile Feel the good cold stinging blood. The smooth hissing snakes of rain"
Everytime I hear this it scares the living daylights out of me, Jim sounds like he is possesed (which he most likely is!) and I can feel the hairs on my body stand up...YIKES!....it´s so scary and so DAMN GOOD! I wonder...is there a full lenght version of this video somewhere? I would love so watch it all and get really scared and happy!

Is that from the Roundhouse performance? I haven't seen that in a while.

Sadly the only times any decent filming of The Doors was made they did not play the full version of COTL... Would have been amazing to see the 20 minute version but they did not do it all that often as the kids wanted LMF and not poetry....... The few time they did it completely the cameras were not there unfortunately..............unless of course someone knows different.... One of the most interesting things about COTL is that on the WFTS LP sleeve it says .....'lyrics to a theatre composition by The Doors' and I wonder if Jim ever did anything more with a view to having it on a stage?
