An interesting Robby Krieger Song that sounds to me as a bit of a rebuke for Jim Morrison.
We all know that Jim did exactly what the song says and for me there is an inescapable conclusion that Robby is having a bit of fun at Morrison's expense.
Nice bar room honky tonk piano from Ray supported by some strong drumming from John.
Robby takes lead vocals on this and it turns out to be his best vocal effort with The Doors.
Robby seemed to shine on the Other Voices album as some of his best guitar work is featured on that album.
