The Man Who Would Be Jim

This is a particular fave of mine simply by virtue of I helped write it
Sunday Express reporter Chris Goodman discovered there was discord among Doors fans and someone directed him to me.
After an initial email he phoned me twice for information about the situation including a final 2 hour call in which I gave him most of what he used for the article. I described the band as unique and the opposite of the LA Scene at the time, gave him a lot of background to both the Doors and the current situation and the contact addresses and even phone numbers he needed to talk to the dorks.
He took out the obvious bias I had and gave a reasonably fair representation of what was going on in 2003.
It was the only time I have bought the Express in my life. usually I would not even have a free copy.
