Contact Music April 22 2011 The Doors - Jerry Hopkins Wants The Doors Fans To Send Him Their Memories Author Jerry Hopkins is asking fans of The Doors for their magical memories of the band so he can include it in a new digital version of his bestselling biography No One Here Gets Out Alive. Hopkins, who co-wrote the definitive rock book with Danny Sugerman in 1980, has appealed for fans to offer up their anecdotes about how The Doors and their enigmatic frontman Jim Morrison changed their lives. He says, "'Jim Morrison changed my life!' I've heard the words from fans so many times. I'd like to invite fans to tell me their stories. "I may wish to include excerpts from the letters in the new digital version of Nohgoa, so please give me permission to do that in telling your story." Hopkins is asking for all submissions to be sent to him in Thailand, where he has been living since the early 1990s. www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/jerry-hopkins-wants-the-doors-fans-to-send-him-their-memories_1214656JERRY HOPKINS box 1224 nana post office bangkok 10112 thailand jerry@jerryhopkins.com JOIN MY EMAIL MAILING LIST subscribe farangnews-subscribe@yahoogroups.com www.jerryhopkins.com/contact.html
