The Warehouse New Orleans LA December 12th 1970The bands fabled last gig as a 4 piece. A lot of speculation and pure nonsense exists regarding this gig and it was thought for decades that no audio existed. But apparently a tape of the gig is in the hands of the Warehouse stage manager. Will we ever hear it. As with most Doors rarities 'God knows' Plenty of fakes but this may well be the real thing. How much The Doors are willing to pay will decide it. Fans seem to salivate when this is talked about but it is just another shit gig due to Jim being pissed. Give me Fillmore East & West any day or a Whisky gig. NO does not really interest me other than for Historical value. I've searched loads of newspaper archive for any reviews or previews but have only found a couple of mentions as a lot of 1970 in Louisiana is not available. Anyways here is what I've got from New Orleans in 1970 and 1972 when the 3 man Doors played the city. ## The alleged set list for this gig is pretty much a full concert. How true we will not know until someone buys the audio.## 12-11-1970 The States Item. New Orleans LA Some more modern memorabilia commemorating New Orleans

Great,But,exist a promo CD: Who knows? Some claim to have one. Bootlegs have been released claiming to be it. So far one has not materialised. To be honest it does not interest me that much. Fans seem to get obsessed with concerts like this and Miami which are pretty much garbage. New Haven and Troy would be much more interesting as they contain classic Jim Morrison put-downs. Listening to a dying man kill of his own self image is not that great in my book. But then I look at this stuff a lot differently than the main stream Doors fan.

[/img]
Yes but not of the New Orleans gig To make such a claim requires quite a bit more than a picture of a CD with NO on the front. What is the track list? Where did you come to own this? What makes you feel it is NO and not just another mislabelled bootleg such as New Haven, Mexico and many others passed off as something they are not?

LOL I Don't have this, this phot is from a page of facebook,i have new haven 1967 only back door man,and is real new haven not is other show, mexico is toronto 1969 really. It's obviously NOT NO then as if NO exists it's in the hands of tape hoarders and will never appear on FB. Tape traders like the late Bobby Lang managed to get ultra rare stuff out to us mere mortals and that is the only way we will hear NO if another Bobby appears. Are you sure BDM from NH is real as that is another gig that appears from time to time. As far as I am aware only the short bit of video footage exists from NH. Of course that's not to say audio does not exist as lookat the London Fog

Well that is indeed interesting. So where did you aquire this then? It seems inconcievable that someone just recorded BDM so where there is one track there is likely another

New Orleans City Auditorium LA September 2nd 1972 Nothing for this date but this rather confusing poster. It seems that the original date was as the poster 26th August but then put forward a week to September. Can't find anything but this sadly. Good line up all the same. # On a side note Flash were a bloody good English band formed by Peter Banks the original Yes guitarists and the one who thought up the name.
