We now have the facility to post polls with as many as 35 choices which gives us the option to really include all the available choices....so here it is the DEFINITIVE Robby poll including... Doors#1, Doors#2 and Butts Band. ....so cast your vote and lets see whats your poison? I probably should not have said 'DEFINITIVE' as i am sure to have missed one important song off...

If it were just Morrison era songs I'd vote for "Yes The River Knows" and then "Winter Time Love"
Really all his songs on WFTS are fantastic.

I also voted for Love me two times, the drive in that one! He was indeed a great songwriter and Jim's voice gave his songs the power they needed.

Gotta go with LMF it's his first song & it it did a lot for The Doors arguably if they didn't have that song they wouldn't have been a HIT band & would have been an underground band maybe more like MC5 or Iggy.
& Love Me 2 & Spanish Caravan Robby admits he just about stole those 2 riffs especially Spanish, & Love me is the same riff as some blues song, I heard it & it's clear where he got it.
;D

well gates stole windows...and look how popular that is actually bad anology...its only popular cos its the only decent thing. dont you think the doors would have had a major hit without LMF?...wouldnt another song have made them as famous..and what song could that be?

I want to rethink my vote, tonight I like Love Her Madly, a much more mature and complex song than the others.
LMF is great but not as good as LHM.

Not quite 120 years mate LMF #1 for 3 weeks on the Billboard chart and 1 or 2 on the rest. HILY 2 weeks on Billboard. Touch Me was #3 on Billboard but I think it made #1 in some of the minor charts in the US.........
