This is really incredible stuff and its amazing to hear JD read the book and embellish the story with his drums and his singing of the lyrics....truly cool... It's like being a kid again and getting a bedtime story read to you.... Absolutely awesome......and I am just hearing the first few discs..... Anyone else heard this yet?

I told you it was really good!! It really does make it the best Door's book. You have an original member telling his story of the whole history of the group through his words. I was listening to one of those radio shows where John was promoting his book and they were given away this audio cassette version. So I went on Amazon and found a used set and bought it. Definitely a cool find.

They still have 2 studio albums not being officially recognized.. so a ROTS dialogue is a long way off.

His book, ROTS, excuse me for the acronym, has been available in paperback now for awhile. I read the one that they had at our library (they even had Dark Star); anyway, I think I am going to get it now, finally....I consider it "sacred".
