Just started reading his book, only just got the bugger i really like it so far. i am glad he explained abit about his own upbringing and how he got into music to begin with. he started off really getting on with jim by the sounds of it. i have yet to read how he got so scared of jim....i suppose finding jim with a knife to some girls throat didnt help. what do you guys think of that? was jim playing around or did he flip? and what is Z classification exactly, does any one know? (the army defferement bit).

i read one of the funniest things i read fo a while last night in JD's book. JD talkin about this gig they played at the avalon (or filmore) with the high stage. or it might have been somewhere else..anyway they were playting WTMO. JD talks abouthow he feels when playing and what he crowd were doing etc etc and he suddenly says JESUS CHRIST JIM FELLOFF THE STAGE!! made me piss my pants, hilarious. he said he was laughing his bollox off trying to play. superb!

ROTS (Return of the Sith?!) is a great book, I really enjoyed reading it. John´s letter to Jim is very emotional, I believe he has a lot of feelings inside him about those years with the Doors, it must have been a great relief to get it out.

true (like the ROTS BTW ) it amazed me how much Jim affected JD. i am getting on to read how that happened exactly. but i presume it was an accumulation os jims strangeness that freaked JD out.
