He's a man who hides behind a dead man to peddle his lies about the 40th anniversary....I don't think its possible to get lower than that......a shabby little T Shirt seller and liar.....at least Danny was a fan.....no wonder he was pissed off when this creep turned up....we still have never gotten the truth about Danny's being fired by Ray to bring this tosspot lying piece of shit in as Doors manager.......another one Teflon R$ay got away with.... |

I'm gonna reserve some judgement on Jeff, although Im pissed over the treatment of OV/FC. If that BMA release doesn't occur this year, then he's a liar in my book. Tom Vitorino seems like a good guy though, not that he'd interest most of you

They wont come out any time soon. Why does it have to come out on BMR anyway? Why not the same as any other doors album. I wouldnt clump them together with all the concert boots and rarities and stuff that on BMR. They were officially released studio albums and they are just as viable as the first six and deserve to be treated as such.

I didn't mean for OV/FC to be released via BMR, I was talking about a new show on BMR. OV/FC should be released through electra, they're just as much Doors albums as the other six

It's bullshit. Yea they should get released on elektra and the CD could have the butterfly lable. That'd be cool. Any way.. I'm working on making this available for everyone for the price of the materials (lables, cd's jewel cases, ink cartridges) and shipping. I expect it'll come to around 5 or 6 bucks.

I wouldn't mind buying that, I have all the tracks in .mp3 format but it would be nice to have a jewel case of the two albums to go along side my "complete" studio recordings box. You know they should have thrown those two albums in that cube. They would have given them their rightful treatment, and they wouldn't have to worry about people not buying them because they'd buy the box for the other six anyway.

He has shown himself to be of very low character with his glib answers to questions and his lying about Danny Sugerman and the 40th anniversary. Sad that guys like Bill Siddons, Sal and Ash and Danny who were great characters in the Doors world are now replaced by this bum but I guess its a sign o the times..... |

Tom Vitorino seems like a good guy though, not that he'd interest most of you OV/FC will never be released by Elektra. It would have been NO hardship to include them in the remastered box and make it a proper set but they could not care less about that stuff as they cannot use Jim to sell it. Best hope is a label like Cherry Red/Lemon releases them as they have just done with Ray's solo albums. Jampol is as much manager of The Doors as I am...he just does what he's told by Ray and is 'Manzareks Monkey'.....The Doors have sunk so low this last couple of years and the level of lies and deceit even eclipse the 2000 period. Danny sacked by Ray swept under the carpet, BMR put on hiatus so release of plethora of outtakes can be put out swept under the carpet, the lawsuit goes badly for Ray swept under the carpet, The 40th anniversary swept under the carpet.......any discussion other than what is officially sanctioned by Rays lackeys censored or removed. This band used to stand for so much but its now sank so far into the mire that 'truth' and 'integrity' are words unknown to The Doors and thier management. Vitorino is just the manager of an ILLEGAL tribute band so why should that interest Doors fans.....  |

I will give the bloke ONE thing though...he has done a good job for fans of his illegal band with the illegal issuing of illegal CDs with disclive and an illegal DVD. Illegal they may be but thier fans have gotten more out of thier bands manager in two years than we real Doors fans have gotten from BMR BMA, or whatever its called this week, since 2000. well dont forget, it aint the band that has sunk that low...the band dissapeared back in the 70's...its the new doors management that suck as and have sunk so low. the band stood for great things, its just funny now that all the bandstoof for the doors management are turing on its head and doing the complete opposite!  |
