Just been reading a couple of hilarious rumours on the net this week .....'The Doors' (sic) have been signed up for that awful reality TV show where a band searches for a new lead singer. Maybe that pillock astbury ain't as daft as he looks and has buggered off to India and they need a few bucks by making themselves look idiots for a reality TV show....... also apparently this bunch of losers plan to recreate The Soft Parade album with an orchestra as their next project....they are having to sell it on the net as no record company will touch them..... So this is not a tribute band eh! These assholes are the laffing stock of rock which would not bother me at all if they did not drag The Doors name down with them.... buncha fucking losers!  |

Again, you've read/heard wrong. The Soft Parade is being planned to be added to their setlist at upcoming shows. The album full of new material may not make cd release but be available to download, although thats not set in stone by any means. Where did you read the Rockstar bullshit? I only saw it posted by someone on the D21C yahoo group who didn't site a source.

Funny how rumours about these tossers seem to permeate the internet ......I read it on Yahoo (not the dork one) and found it hilarious....I never believed it myself but they must be getting desperate for cash now so who knows.....and astbury is not certain to return Matt after all he is just hired help not a band member and can do what he pleases...as to TSP what a bunch of sad tossers having to sell old Doors tunes on the net with some z rate Morrison clone to make a living....I'd rather sweep the streets  |

Someone emailed me about this yesterday and I just visited LL for the first time in a month and it seems that they seem to think that TSP will be recorded with a 6 piece orchestra and sold via the net. This shows that as Jim said they need The Doors name to get record company interest......looks like the new album will be sold as downloads if at all as nobody will touch these losers with a bargepole if they can't stick The Doors on the cover.......so Manzareks lies that it was all about the music are shown up in all their glory.....without the name they are up shit creek without a paddle and can only make a living flogging a sad tribute to The Doors and making shite remakes of Doors classics and pimping them on the net......what a laughable bunch all you involved with RATS are as you still peddle the same old crap that this shite is in someway the new Doors.... 2 old guys and 3 hired helpers the new Doors give me a break Matt. When are you guys over there gonna come to terms with the facts.....? Manzarek started this to make money outta The Doors name and when he was held to account lied his ass off under oath in a court of law to try to justify his deceit. You blame Densmore and you blame us in the anti camp but never blame your selves for the mess you have gotten all of us into.....Doors fans hate each other and the community is split forever thanks to Ray and his lying schemes......now you are the Doors fans and we are just purists or Jim Morrison fans out to prevent ray and Robby playing Doors songs......utter shite pal.....Krieger and Manzarek are liars.....proof of that is in their own words in court......they are thieves.....branded such by a Superior Court Judge and they are nothing but a tribute band to their former selves.........RATS would be laughable except for the fact that they are destroying The Doors forever as a fanbase with their deceit their lies and their greed......  |

The FACT that these two need The Doors name is not speculation either as they are desperately clinging on to it tooth and nail with their latest band name..... Liars and Thieves are all this pair is.... But still you guys blame US! I did not steal The Doors name and land the band in court....I did not lie my arce off in court to cover up my thievery....I did not make millions of dollars illegally out of The Doors name.....I have never decieved Doors fans into thinking I run the new Doors....but I know a man who did! When will you lot come to terms that all thsi shit is Rays fault ...NOT Johns...NOT the fans of Jim's leather trousers...NOT Jim's dads and NOT the Judge or Jury... Ray Manzarek...HIM! When Ray acknowledges that his lies and deceit were to blame for this mess and that he was WRONG to steal property that did not belong to him we might be able to make a start being Doors fans again.....what I read on the LL today does not give me any hope sadly! Its anyone but your tribute bands fault with you people..... All your lot want to do is play the music and keep up Jims legacy....BULLSHIT..... All your band ie Ray wanted to do was make a buck outta The Doors cos he was sick of playing bookshops and selling his autograph for $10 a throw.... When RATS and their fans stand up and accept the blame for what they have caused we might get peace...but you don't have the guts and will just bleat like spoilt brats that the whole world is against you.....and its someone else not you! God you martyrs make my blood boil! Stop living in a Manzarek fantasy and look at the FACTS! I really dont see how've we've ruined the Doors community except the few fans who like to troll and start shit on boards like Johns. |
