KingG.. take it from a musician who's made albums before. There are outtakes... and alot of em!!! It's just a matter of weather or not they've survived the years.

Well the stuff that appeared on the LAW DVD survived OK so its fair to summise that there is more LAW stuff.... The extra verse to Cars Hiss By My Window as well as the CHBMW track itself which sounds different to the album version........the rumour of Away In India being recorded as part of Riders On The Storm as well as the Other Voices tracks with Jerry Scheff that were recorded during LAW session........ They played around with Queen Of The Magazines which became Paris Blues so its likely they also did other stuff......... Add to that the fact they recorded versions of LA Woman and Riders On The Storm at Sunset Sound Studio to preview to Paul Rothchild in December 1970. It is inconceivable that as the band played 'live' in the studio that there were not many takes of songs that were actually recorded. As to how many survived the session intact and survive today that is the big question. Other bands kept stuff safe from the 60s and 70s that is being shared with fans today but it seems odd that The Doors have barely a scrap of the material from that time left.........very odd indeed
