Noone ever talks about this one. My dad got me one a year or two ago. Not a bad album.. it had a quadraphonic release as well. The Best Of The Doors Electra EQ-5035 Aug. 1973Side 1: Who Do You Love (from AL) Soul Kitchen Hello, I Love You People Are Strange Riders On The Storm
Side 2: Touch Me Love Her Madly Love Me Two Times Take It As It Comes Light My FireI like it for casual listening. I don't worry about wearing it out.

I put it in the Doors compilation thread......... It was originally a Quad release and only years later became a conventional release. I remember buying it in 1973 and playing it and being dissapointed as I did not understand about Quad as it was just a new fad at the time. I had a mate who bought a Quad system but never played my LP on his deck so never found out what it was supposed to sound like. Like 8 track Quad became just another experiment that never took off......I remember our local HMV featuring a number of WEA Import albums in Quad format....Fleetwood mac, Eagles etc in 1973. Television Bleeding features two channels from the album and passes it off as Doors rare out takes......its quite an interesting listen. It was not like that through a conventional stereo and I recall that it sounded strange because the bass end of the recording practiacally dissapeared. A very odd release but cool for collectors.
