Take our Bono vs Jim Morrison quiz!

U2, Bono, Rock and Roll, Jim Morrison, When You're Strange, John Densmore, The Doors, Randomnesness
If you found yourself at a Doors concert in the '60s, you'd get an earful of incoherent, drug-induced stream-of-consciousness poetics. Find yourself at a U2 concert in the modern day and you'll still get a stream-of-consciousness rant – although this time it's more likely to be about world hunger.
Both concerts would be equally pretentious. So maybe The Doors' drummer John Densmore had a point when he likened Bono to Jim Morrison while doing promotion at Sundance this week for the new Doors doc, When You're Strange.
Judge for yourself: Out of the selected Bono and Jim Morrison quotes below, can you tell who's who?
1. "Death is a real cold shower and I've had a lot. It's followed me around since I was a kid and I don't want to see any more of it."
2. "People fear death even more than pain. It's strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death."
3. "There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first."
4. "F--k the revolution! They don't talk about the glory of killing for the revolution. What's the glory of taking a man from his bed and gunning him down in front of his wife and his children?"
5. “Music can change the world because it can change people.”
6. "Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free."
7. "We've got to follow through on our ideals or we betray something at the heart of who we are. Outside these gates, and even within them, the culture of idealism is under siege, beset by materialism and narcissism and all the other isms" of indifference."
8. "The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask."
9. “I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then –whoosh, and I'm gone...and they'll never see anything like it ever again... and they won't be able to forget me- ever.”
10. "I'd be in big trouble if Karma was going to finally be my judge. I'd be in deep shit."
11. "The world is more malleable than you think and it's waiting for you to hammer it into shape."
12. “I believe in a long, prolonged, derangement of the senses in order to obtain the unknown.”
ANSWERS:
Morrison: 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 12
Bono: 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11
