I've read a few books like this Michael Lawrence and Dennis Jakob to name two.
They probably are great to the author and his mates but I myself found them dull and boring.
Who knows this might actually buck that trend but I won't hold my breath.
Anyway this is from 2020 and tells the tale of Jim & Mary Werbelow muse for the opening bit of The End.
Jim, Mary and brother Andy.
