As you know Max Fink, Jim Morrison's attorney filed an appeal immediately following Jim's sentencing. This memoradum was part of the FBI's documentation of May 15 1969. The Feds refused to prosecute Jim but the state of Florida proceeded. I believe that Jim's appeal would have aquitted him of all charges.
