Jim and heroin

does anyone know of any evidence of jim actually taking heroin? jyms comment in another thread about danny sugarman making a comment on jim taking heroine has sparked my interest...
i know we dont know much about this...although the oliver stone ahs jim as not taking heroin and actually disliking the fact that pam did....but this is ollies film...

There is NO evidence at all to support that!
All there is are various comments made by junkies and people trying to get their asses licked by Doors fans on the LL or make a buck out of Morrison with a controversial angle in a book or magazine.
He may well have taken H and he may well have been gay but there is not a shred of credible evidence that supports either theory.

Yeah, all I have is the hearsay of Danny & I don't know what he was basing that comment on, if he actually ever saw Jim using heroin or maybe if he just assumed that was what Jim was doing.

strange aint it...and we will never know due to the doctor on the scene of death being payed off!!
but gay he def was not!! jim was true and honest to himself...if he was gay then he was seriously cheating himself!

Now, who says the doctor was paid off? From what I understand in France at the time if there was no suspicion of foul play or request from the family, no autopsy was necessary. Or put it this way a doctor is awakened at a fairly early hour to see if an American citizen is dead or alive, he's dead & there's no overt cause or evidence of foul play the guys dead the doctor wants to go back to sleep. No pay-off necessary, if someone thought a pay-off was necessary that would be a cause of suspicion in itself. Who was going to do it? Pam? She was distraught & probably freaking out so I would doubt she had the wherewithal or even the composure to do it. Who else was there? Agnes Varda &/or Alain? What are they going to pay the guy off for & with what, their own money? & How much is going to guarentee a lifetime of silence?

i think i have been influenced by the theory that that italian dude, who was seeing pam and supplying drugs to hollywood may have been contacted by pam and he came over to get rid of any drug parafanalia and pay the doc off to ovoid the autopsy....but thinking about it, so what? if he died of heroin OD then what difference would it make? unless pam wanted his name free from heroin!?
i guess there would only be a pay off and wrong doings if there was much more to his death..i.e. murder...but then again the cops didnt find any reason for concern did they?

The beauty of these conspiracy theories is that they don't need annoying things like facts or evidence.

'Nobody saw the body'...xcept for the dozens of people who attended the scene and carried the body into the mortuary van and cleaned up the body and readied it for burial....its like Monty Pythons 'what have the Romans ever done for us' sketch.

There was no autopsy and the doctor dissapeared into the night never to be heard from again.....

Therew as white powder heaped on a table when Siddons got there days later.....

Jim's body was carried around Paris by taxi taking in various sites until finally it got dumped in a bath....
Its endless and need snothing to back up anything said as it fuels its own bullshit with further bullshit.....

I dunno how Jim died as I was in Stockton at the time and all those with opinions were similarly somewhere else....
Did he die of heroin? We will never really know other than the opinions of people thousands of miles away at the time....but its a fun to speculate so power to it as it keeps the myth going and therefore the interest.....
