I DIDN'T copy all your comments from facebook because I have NEVER been to the page those comments were posted on. What I DID was comment on a post that was placed here. it was me who put the quotes from facebook up here, and for as far as i know is it legal to do so. i added the names(nicknames) from the ppl who placed the reactions, the only thing i removed was how many ppl liked the reactions. names and sources are the only thing i have to add according to the law here (and for as far as i know internet hasn't got a law on what to do when you use quotes) so i did what i have to do. if you want your quote removed let me know and i'll do it Leave them where they are Giz cutting and pasting is not illegal as far as I am aware. I await with anticipation an apology from whoever it was that accused ME of doing it. Anyone with breeding one up from a chimp should have the good grace to apologise for that misunderstanding. Hell it happened to me a few times on LL and Densmore's forum and I always had the good grace to drop an apology.....and no matter how much I might dislike someone I always meant it. It's how I was brought up. I may come from an rough arced industrial area and I may have the ability to argue and swear like a docker on fire, but I always knew the value of good manners especially if in the wrong. We will see mate.

I agree that Dennis Jakob seems like a very interesting guy. You can see clips of him on Youtube in an Errol Morris short on movies. He definitely made his mark on lots of filmmakers...

i wonder how much % of books will contain stories about jim morisson, at least dennis jacob has some pre doors stories but, if he's writing a book about his own life it will be a few short stories coz he had quite some years after jim died.

50 pages can say it all i guess, it's not that they went along each day so i think it's gonna be a 50 % bullshit book. still worth reading coz i've read worse

Jim didn’t drink in the beginning. The Doors first managers Asher and Dan accompanied Jim before the concerts and I think they taught him how to drink to calm himself down before the shows. Toward the end of the Doors’ lifetime Jim had become an alcoholic and this caused him to infringe on everything. Then the question obviously is where did this come from?

Did anyone ever ask Paul Ferrara about his witnessing Jim's Last Will and Testament? Would be interesting to know about this as that document has caused more than a few ructions! I haven't read Paul Ferrara's book [and yes, the cover did put me off], so I don't know if he mentions it in there.
