What ones were performed when and where?
From what I've heard most of em were peformed in 1970. And then I read that thing when the 3 of them did that TV special thing where they did mostly LA Woman songs.. and he goes "we were gonna do another tour after LA Woman but we didnt. These are the songs we never got the chance to perform"
Uh.... lol ... ok Ray

The Doors never toured LA Woman...the only dates they played that featured LA Woman tracks were their last two......a couple of sets in Dallas and a date in New Orleans. We know for a fact that LA Woman, Love Her Madly and The Changeling were performed as we have a bootleg of it on the first Dallas set. The rest is conjecture, rumour or lies......take your pick. In the Creem 10 Year Special from 1981 John mentions them playing Riders On the Storm but many think he may have gotten mixed up with LA Woman. Nobody knows for certain except those who may or may not have a copy of the tape what was played in New Orleans and the 2nd set of Dallas....those who attended the gigs have never come out and confirmed or denied any track so we are pretty much in the dark. Several of the LAW album tracks were played pre LAW.....Crawling King Snake was a Doors fave for most of the bands career, Texas Radio was a similar set fave. Also in 1970 Been Down So Long was played in Detroit and possibly at other gigs and a snippet of CHBMW which was part of a Morrison poem at the time was played in a blues Jam after the Aquarius gigs in 1969 which became Back Stage & Dangerous. Various bits and pieces have been played by the 3 remaining Doors over the last couple of decades but as far as we know L'America, Hyacinth House, and ROTS were NEVER played live by The Doors.

Yea i know there was no LA woman tour Just the way Ray worded it. He more or less said "we never got to play any of those LA Woman" songs live" Which... is obviously bullshit. He just wanted to hype that special. I'd like to hear some of those gigs. I've never heard any Morrison live stuff that wasnt on the elektra live albums.
