Ray's latest album....anyone heard it yet? 'My collaboration with Bal - he goes by a single name - has resulted in a mix of music that is all within the area called "Electronica." This CD is jazz based with computer additives. We have tried to explore many avenues of music through the use of synths and sampled sounds, live playing and acoustic instruments. What we were going for was a blend of our jazz/rock/ethnic roots that we then stuffed into the computer. And it came back out with "Atonal Head." We have Brazilian compositions, Japanese inspired compositions, rock riffs, ballads, and a guest vocal by Jim Morrison. Bal did the computer work and played the trumpet and guitar. I did all the keyboard parts. Some of the compositions are based on ideas that he had, some are based on the ideas that I had, and some came free and clear out of the blue. It's basically an instrumental album with a touch of vocals. I hope you find it interesting!' Atonal Head sounds like a sexual act you have to perform on Ray.
