List your favourite Ray Manzarek moments from 1965 to the present day. To make it difficult try to restrict it to 5 events in John's career that have impressed you.
#1 First one not actually from the Doors time period but 1961 and his Lighthouse club gig with his UCLA Trio. A wonderful moment in time capturing just how much of a star Ray was destined to be. Some great piano playing.
#2 Golden Scarab
#3 Carmina Burana
#4 His poetry collaberation with Mike McClure and Mike C Ford.
#5 Tightrope Ride. Ray's eulogy to Jim Morrison from the 7th Doors album Other Voices. Ray always had a great singing voice which was never really appreciated by Doors fans and his Screaming Ray vocals on this great post Jim Doors song sound both poignant and angry as Ray laments the passing of his friend Jim.
