List your favourite Robby Krieger moments from 1965 to the present day. To make it difficult try to restrict it to 5 events in Robby's career that have impressed you.
1. Light My Fire. The song that propelled The Doors into Legend. Robby's first real stab at writing a song and the first of many great Doors songs. Not his best by any means and at many levels this song is totally over rated but it became the song that epitomised the band and ultimately a mill stone around thier neck. Helluva song nontheless and a great Robby guitar solo.
2. The Butts Band debut album. Some great Krieger songs such as Baja Bus and I Won't Be Alone Anymore as well as some wonderful Krieger guitar playing. Completely different to what he was famous for in The Doors and a brave attempt to be something different which sadly failed due to the distance between the two elements of the band based on different continents.
3. Robby's slide guitar style. Thankfully not employed on every song as Jim wanted it to be when Robby first demonstrated it at his first ever Door rehearsal but when it was utilised it gave an almost ethereal quality to Doors music that set them apart from the other bands of the period.
