I would imagine they will have a vocalist on the odd track but mainly jazz based instrumantals....... The album should be out in the next few weeks in the US and hopefully will make it across to us shortly after....

I love that music! The only dissappointing thing is all the Doors references. I know I have been giving "dorks" fans a lot of grief, saying how they use Jim and The Doors name to sell tickets and CDs. The bad thing is, John is kind of doing the same thing. Two versions of Riders on the Storm, one "featuring Jim Morrison", then at the bottom it states in bold , "THE DOORS" drummer John Densmore. I still love John to death, but I'm just a little dissapointed. I was hoping it would be all about the music. Now I don't know what to say. This is my first post. Please go easy on me.

Hey I been saying the same thing for three years nearly....but lets not bracket John with the dorks as John, Ray and Robby have been reffering to Jim on stuff since 1973 when The Doors disbanded forever..... Ray used Jim's poetry on his excellent TWTSWR&R album and Robby has been doing covers of Jim's songs since the 70s.........all three cannot help but have 'of The Doors' after thier name and have been wearing it as a badge of honour with pride for 34 years now and have no reason to feel ashamed for that....what the dorks are doing is different to John doing a salsa version of 'Riders' and using Jims voice in a remix of it....... True he is using that as a selling point but it took him 34 years to do that and Ray and Robby have been doing it for decades......so I say cut the guy some slack ......he has a lot of catching up to do before he gets near Ray or even Robby for milking Jim....... Lets not forget it does not cost 100 dollars to see Johns band as all the Tribaljazz gigs so far have been free events......this is the blokes first solo effort so maybe we should all give him that one as a freebie but let him know we will be watching for future releases.... And welcome to the board BTW! Hope you get into the place.......as we have a wealth of Doors stuff here....
