It's almost as if the more they say Jim was just off on holiday that it will eventually be true.
They lied about this for 50 years and still we fans know Jim wasn't coming back to The Doors.
I always wondered are they sad enough that they ACTUALLY believe this crap?
I can't recall one of them ever saying Jim had left The Doors

The Matrix tape was never thought lost as the bloke who owned it wanted paying for his work but they were too greedy to give him money.
He gave Rothchild a low quality copy which made up the bootleg and The Doors own Matrix CD their 'manager' Jampot said was the master tape.
When he got shot down in flames for his lies on the Doors forum he petulantly threatened to close it down.
That Doors official CD is just the bootleg and sounds exactly the same.
The taper released some 30 second clips and they were astounding quality.
The Debut LP 50th had some tarted up tracks from their Matrix tape but the actual master tape still is in the hands of the original taper.
