Carousel Theatre West Covina CA January 19th/20th 1968
This is an interesting one featuring the two faces of Jim Morrison.
These are the bands opening concert salvos for 1968.
They have smashed the charts with LMF and 2 excellent acid rock LPs that have sold millions.
So a lot is expected and the band are not quite up to fulfilling those expectations as Jim's demons are on display.
## There are some photos purporting to be from the concerts but I have no idea which ones are which nights. ##
The band played 2 nights at the Carousel the first one an excellent one with Jim in fine form leaping and screaming and then hitting his cue to continue the song.

Fast/Fwd to the second night and Morrison is piss drunk and the show suffers as a result.
An example of how theatres would reuse unsold tickets.
The Doors 2nd night simply stamped on a used ticket.
