I bought this shortly after its release and wished I'd not bothered. Considering the new technology that was making an appearance I was expecting something awesome but instead it was ordinary. Cars Hiss By My Window the only bit of it worth the money as it was the first time we fans heard the extra verse.
I still have it now but better versions by far have emerged with 40 & 50 year remasters which have a wonderful sound that enhances the original.
This DVD Audio was just a fad and was just a money-grab for The Doors who were becoming notorious for B & C product at an A price. As would be the case in many a future Doors release on DVD the sleeve was shit with no attempt to put some information and photos and expand that single sheet. I'm at the stage now where why should I give a fuck as they obviously don't give a shit about fans.
Not the biggest pile of bullshit to appear with a Doors logo during the new century but close. I'm sure it's a collectors piece nowadays. I have one for $100 if anyone wants one. It's not worth that of course and I would not give you a $1 for it.I think the title track has that Robbie anthem guitar but that and CHBMW are it audio wise. The DVD 'extras' are some photographs and that's your lot. It's amazing how 'The Doors' & 'Value For Money' are an anathema to each other.
