The two Post-Jim albums from 1971 & 1972 were completely ignored by the band until 2015 when they released them as a double CD.
Up to this point a couple of pirate CDs were available from Russia with decent quality.
I had made a CD from my original vinyl which was decent but not great.
When I came to the Internet I found most fans did not care about Other Voices & Full Circle so myself and a couple of other fans made their best efforts to
get people interested.
Full Circle was a hard sell as lyrically it is shit and not that much better vocally but musically it isn't bad.
The songs were pretty awful especially the Krieger ones. The Piano Bird was notable as it was John's only ever lyric contribution.
Other Voices got people to notice this era as it's a pretty tight set of songs including a couple from LAW Jim flat out refused to sing such as Robbie's I'm Horny I'm Stoned.
Ray's Ships w/ Sails was the best song on it just edging his angry eulogy to Jim, Tightrope Ride.
The Masters had long been gone so the band used the LPs and re-mastered that source for the CD.
So in 2015 a double CD and two stand alone LPs were released.
The individual LP threads deal with the LP and this thread will deal with the CD release.

THE BOOKLET
They cannot help themselves perpetuating the lie that Morrison had not left the band at the start of the booklet. Leaving it an open question as to whether or not he was coming back to the band.
Some days before he left he held a meeting witnessed by manager Bill Siddons and his wife who was a secretary in The Doors office.
Jim clearly told them he was leaving the band.
WE know this beyond doubt due to the paper they ambushed him with on the day he left, March 11th 1971, a one page contract amendment the trio had drawn up stating no member can use the band name without
permission of the other three.
This piece of paper came back to haunt Krieger/Manzarek when they stole the bands name in 2002.
Why do that when he was just off on holiday? They have lied about this one page piece of paper for over 53 years. Even JD in his book does not mention what won him the 2002/08 trial.
