I am totally confused, I was always under the impression Jim wrote this, but according to some it was by Robby... I don't know the truth anymore, I still find it to be a lost gem, though.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wintertime winds blow cold the season Fallen in love, I'm hopin' to be Wind is so cold, is that the reason? Keeping you warm, your hands touching me Come with me dance, my dear Winter's so cold this year You are so warm My wintertime love to be Winter time winds blue and freezin' Comin' from northern storms in the sea Love has been lost, is that the reason? Trying desperately to be free Come with me dance, my dear Winter's so cold this year And you are so warm My wintertime love to be La, la, la, la Come with me dance, my dear Winter's so cold this year You are so warm My wintertime love to be

Robbie had a great nack of making stuff sound like they came from jim....like in the doors film, robbies chracter says upon writing light my fire "i just beede to write about snakes and death" or something like that anyway. I agree wintertime love is a great song.

Often mistaken for a Jim Morrison composition Wintertime Love explores a more romantic vision than the dark themes Morrison is famous for. Another jazz waltz type Doors song featuring Ray on harpsichord mixed in with his usual organ. Jim Morrison paid tribute to Krieger the songwriter thus. "As a guitar player Robby is more complex and my thing is more in blues vein, long rambling basic and primitive. It's just that the difference between any two poets is very great"Robby's Best Song Robby Krieger Songwriter?

14 Reasons To Love John Densmore Modern Drummer 2010
At under two minutes it's among The Doors shortest songs, but it's a complete pop delight bursting with drumming Inspiration. Set in waltz time with a double tracked Morrison vocal, it features perfect buzz rolls, bouncing tom fills (like the one at 0.21 )and a buoyant groove. Dig the chattering rimclicks at 0.48 and Manzarek's harpsichord ending.
