The Doors: Live At The Hollywood Bowl 1987Wake Up Light My Fire Unknown Soldier A Little Game The Hill Dwellers Spanish Caravan Light My Fire (edit)
Live At The Hollywood Bowl Released: 1987 Billboard peak: # 154Without the slightest doubt the most shameful shabby release by The Doors ever as a less than 20 minute EP was sold as a full priced album and even had the gall to feature an edited version of one of the tracks at the end. Unbelievable but sadly a fact as the true greed of those who represented The Doors showed through in startling fashion with this utterly disreputable excuse for an LP. Musically its fine but the price these people charged for it was a complete disgrace. What was the point of this is unknown as the Video release featuring the entire concert other than 'Hello I Love You', whose absence has NEVER been properly explained, was a decent example of The Doors live and why the CD could not have featured the same music was beyond me. To add 3 minutes of the same Light My Fire at the end was an insult beyond comprehension but to charge the same price as an ordinary CD for it was criminal. As a fan I bought a copy but these crooks were certainly noted as being worthy of watching. An absolute and utter disgrace of an album!
