Heres a few pics from Jims Joint january 06 .... 65 bucks a nite plus tax ......there were no ghosts, no prostitutes, and sage wasnt running around barking ... however i had visitors most nites wanting to take pictures and tell stories and because im such a nice host , i offered them a jack daniels Excellent pix mate...... Thats the funny thing ....if any Doors fan knocked on your door wanting to see the room expecting some moaning twat to make them feel so unwelcome and then they get you!!! bet they thought it was Xmas!!!  So that You, Adz and Chris in the last few months ......I for one am totally jealous!!! |

I was in West Hollywood in the mid 1980's. I was gonna move to the west coast......I had a interview to work at UCLA med ctr as a secty......but I came back and got married........anyway, I was at venice beach and the Beanery and so forth...... I didn't know to make it to the Alta 32.......well, I was a LA girl in spirit for two weeks anyway. Santa Monica Beach, is where I hung a bit and got some tawdry T shirts at Venice beach.....I was staying with my brother in law and a friend of his and they were at least 5 years younger than me...but all in all...we got along and it was fun....maybe ill upload the photos when I can...get a scanner or something.  |

Thanks guys im glad u liked the pics . I also liked the fact that wen i was there, i was sitting on the bed texting Rick, Kat and bad cowboy ......it was good to tell some doors folk of where i am right now .....
Opposite the motel on la cienaga there is a drug store which basically sells anything .. i walked in there grabbed a bottle of jack and a bottle of coke and the biggest black marker pen money cud buy .....when i got to the check out , the mexican guy at the counter said ....i guess i dont have to ask you for I.D ......i know where your staying .........man i had to laugh .....i think he'd seen similar purchases over the years ......
